US approves armed drone to Taiwan, China gets shock

Despite China’s warning, the US continues to strengthen Taiwan’s military power. Under the agreement reached recently, the US government has approved the sale of armed drones to Taiwan for $ 600 million (about Rs 450 billion). The State Department has confirmed this information saying that the process of providing remote operated armed drones and other equipment to Taiwan has been approved.

After these, Taiwan will be helped in its security, military balance and political stability. It may be noted that last week, the US government had agreed to sell $ 237 million Harpoon missile to Taiwan. China had protested, threatening to ban arms-supplying companies. In fact, China asserts Taiwan as its separate province, while Taiwan says that it is a sovereign country. Along with other issues, tensions between China and the US are increasing due to arms being provided to Taiwan.
