According to witnesses, the paramedics callously dismissed the efforts of the patient’s neighbors, accusing them of being too slow and wasting their time. With no assistance forthcoming, the paramedics left the scene, leaving the highly distressed patient stranded. Eventually, the patient was transported to a nearby clinic by an e-hailing taxi service and subsequently transferred to the hospital with the help of another Emergency Medical Services ambulance.
