The Double Standard of COP27 Globalist Hypocrites: Steak for Me, Worms for Thee

globalists eat fine food buffet, whilst telling others to eat worms and bugs.

The globalist hypocrisy in its entirety was on display for the entire world to see as they partake in a variety of fine foods at the COP27 climate change summit in Egypt while advocating for the general public to consume insects like worms and bugs.

Breitbart elaborated on the upscale cuisine that world leaders and business titans, otherwise known as globalists, will eat while attending the 12-day conference in Sharm El Sheikh. Fortunately for them, there were no worms nor bugs on the menu for the average globalist in attendance.

These dishes include salmon with creamy sauce, chicken breast with orange gravy, and beef medallions with mushroom sauce.

According to the outlet, delegates can also take advantage of bottomless cocktails for 90 minutes. There are also delivery services for single-use items like paper cups, bottled water, and wooden coffee stirrers.

Many people and advocacy organizations found this offensive and immediately criticized the hypocrisy. The menu was denounced by the animal rights organization Animal Rebellion as a “slap in the face” in light of the ongoing food inflation and shortages. It’s really disappointing that high environmental impact meat and fish from another continent are served at such a significant climate change event as COP27, according to a spokesperson for The Vegan Society.

Animal Rebellion volunteer Nathan McGovern agreed with the viewpoints expressed by his group. He told the Daily Mail, “These so-called leaders are swanning off to Egypt, and there’s no real action going to be taken, just lots of words.” This merely seems to be saying, “Do what I say and not what I do.”

McGovern also questioned the need to ship foods like salmon to North Africa. “North Africa has some excellent plant-based foods, like falafel and couscous,” he observed. Why do they need to ship Atlantic salmon in?

During an appearance on GB News, Scottish author and political commentator Neil Oliver attacked the COP27 attendees’ dietary preferences. As they dine on menus that include beef, chicken, salmon, sea bass, and cream sauces, they come to lecture us about consuming less meat, he said. “What we are witnessing right now is not leadership. It’s desperate and massively trolling us commoners.

In contrast to what the globalist United Nations (UN) and World Economic Forum (WEF) advocate, the menu at the COP27 summit was a complete 180.

“Meat analogs such as imitation meat from plant products, cultured meat, and insects may help in the transition to more healthy and sustainable diets,” the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) stated in its 2018 report. The IPCC is a UN-affiliated intergovernmental organization with its headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.

In the meantime, the WEF has promoted vegetarian and vegan diets to combat “climate change.”

According to a July 12, 2021 article on the WEF website, “Insects are good to eat” Throughout the food chain, insect protein can be used as a substitute source of protein due to its high-quality characteristics. (Related: UN, WEF push for consumption of insect meat amid significant attack on world food supply.)

“Insect farming uses less CO2, water, surface area, and raw materials than conventional farming.

In a different article from July 26, 2021, several meat substitutes were also recommended, including processed foods, cacti, algae, and grains that aren’t common.

Finally, Oliver issued a warning: “The policies they are advocating are dooming hundreds of millions of the world’s poorest people to a life of squalor, starvation, and death on a global scale. The people in their own countries are being forced into fuel and food poverty for the first time in generations as a result of their cynicism at the same time.
