Two policemen reacting to a crime scene in Boksburg, Gauteng were disarmed and gunned down on Thursday evening.
According to News24, Colonel Mathe, police spokesperson, said the officers were shot while waiting for a mortuary vehicle at the crime scene upon reacting to a complaint.
Mathe added that three men neutralized the officials, took their guns and body armor, and fled on foot.
The officers worked at Boksburg North police station, she said.
To stop police murders, General Masemola said communities must work together.
“Until we find those who attacked and killed police officers, we will not rest.” “My innermost deepest sympathies to the family, friends, and coworkers of the two members,” Masemola said.
